Express Sushi & Teriyaki has been a proud part of the Carmichael and Sacramento community for over 12 years. We're a family-owned and operated restaurant, and from the beginning, our goal has been to share our love for fresh sushi and flavorful Japanese teriyaki with the people around us.

What started as a small local spot has grown into a place where familiar faces stop by for their favorite rolls, bento boxes, and friendly service. We put heart into everything we make — from our hand-rolled sushi to our made-to-order teriyaki plates — because we know our customers deserve nothing less.

I’ve been a regular here for too many years. I’ve introduced this place to so many friends and family along the way and it’s definitely a staple. The food is always yummy and their prices for quality of food is unbeatable. The sushi is always so fresh too. Another thing that keeps me coming back are the lovely employees that work there. The chefs behind the counter always have a smile on their face and the servers as well are so attentive and friendly. Lexi is my fav.

We were there 4 times and it was always a big pleasure! The staff is polite, smiling and helpful. The food is nice and delicious. Very positive prices - I think this is the cheaper sushi place I’ve ever been to. Highly recommended!
WOW! WOW! WOW! Excellent sushi and regular dishes. I've been back 3 times! To me,'good sushi' is a party of flavors for the pallette to enjoy. So what a party indeed!! I also had the teriyaki salmon with rice & salad. THIS IS WHERE TO FIND THEE BEST EVER MISO SALALD DRESSING IN ALL OF SACRAMENTO!! I could put it on everything it's so delicious! The interior is open and feels very spacious. Our server was friendly, knowledgeable, and so sweet.
